Fast, Luxurious, Light, and Fuel Efficient.
This brand-new model is our interpretation of what a walk-around-center-console-catamaran should look like. The results speak for themselves: the meticulous balance between form and function is evident from every angle. This walk around cuddy version is well suited for colder climates and offers excellent protection for the crew while not compromising on visibility or comfort.
The deck, gunnel and cabin / pilot house / cuddy are all new, designed by Hammer Yachts in collaboration with the well-known Du Toit Design group. The results of this collaboration are outstanding: the 35HH gives a fresh and modern look to the cuddy concept.
The challenge when designing a walk-around cuddy is to ensure there is enough walkable deck-space while keeping an eye on the available interior space. The 12’ beam of the HammerCat 35 allows us to have 18” all around the cuddy , and a spacious interior featuring seats or benches, or any combination thereof.
The toilet area is on the port side of the helm, descending 2 steps. This area gives access to the back side of the electronics and features a flat landing measuring 7’ x 6’, bring your mattress as it is a good place to take a nap!
We offer different options to enclose the back side / rear of the pilothouse: the standard version keeps the back of the cuddy open. We offer a composite / glass lockable door as well as Isinglass roll up enclosure.
The standard equipment on the HammerCat 35HH is impressive and offers a complete-ready-to-go-boating vessel. The extensive option list offers any experienced or non-experienced boater an almost endless variety of options in terms of electronics packages, engine packages and comfort features. As a boutique boat builder, Hammer Yachts offers an unmatched flexibility. We offer a variety of semi-custom interior / cabin lay-out option: Dual benches, individual pilot seats or modules which combine seating and storage. 12V air conditioning can be added.
The aft deck area measures 11” x 10’, and can be optioned with a fighting chair, rocket launcher, or bring a table and 4 deck chairs to have an al fresco lunch!
Bridge deck: no slapping or slamming on the HammerCat 35HH. The bridge deck is well out of the water, which reduces the slamming / slapping / sneezing to a minimum, very different from all other catamaran builders which have their bridge deck touching the water while at rest !
The hull is the same as for our HammerCat 35 center console (40 units build, double stepped hull with wave piercing bows). All HammerCats are built in epoxy composite materials, with a carbon-fiber hardtop. This construction method uses vacuum infusion to ensure the best possible weight to strength ration. The upright structure of the cuddy itself is aluminum, which is coated with a very durable finishing (no powder coating). The hardtop is 100% carbon fiber, keeping the overall weight down. The hardtop provides enough overhang to keep glare of the sun out of the interior.
p.s HH stands for Hard Hat: as this vessel is much more than just a cuddy, we gave it a unique and easy to remember name.
