Introduction

Hammer Yachts is proud to introduce a new member to the HammerCat family: the HammerCat 30 As the smaller sister to the HammerCat 35, the HammerCat 30 has a similar flare and hull shape and is immediately recognizable as a HammerCat. he underwater body of the HammerCat 30 is defined by her double stepped hull and a wave breaker / anti sneeze step in the forward part of the tunnel. Lifting strakes on the inside and outside of the hull keep the spray low and prevent water coming up over the bow / sides. Where most power-catamarans in this size range struggle to keep any distance between the bridge-deck and the water, the HammerCat 30 offers a significant clearance of 18”, which results in a smoother and dryer ride. The more energy (from your engines) is focused on going forward instead of up and down in the waves, the more efficient and comfortable your boat ride will be. The HammerCat 30 offers an oversized epoxy composite hardtop, weighing just 150 Lbs., which protects the helmsman and guest from the sun / rain. Two helm-seats, two seats forward of the console and an aft-bench offer seating for your guests while still having plenty of space for fishing or lounging. The design brief of the HammerCat 30 was to come up with a family friendly sport fishing center console. This is not just another sportfishing boat, but a comfortable day-boat to take the family to the sandbar or over to the Bahamas for the week(end).

Unique features of the 2025 HammerCat 30

Fishing:
Her sport fishing heritage is emphasized with two large & insulated fish-boxes on the aft deck (156 Gl / 600 liters each), a 50 Gls live-bait well on the transom, 12 x Gemlux rodholders as well as a reinforced area on the hardtop where one can mount (optional) outriggers. A rocket-launcher for 7 rods in the hardtop is part of the impressive list of standard equipment. The 8” wide gunnels are 28” off the deck, which gives you the secure feeling when leaning against them while fighting a fish, and the cambered decks ensure that any water is discarded of deck quickly. The hull of the HammerCat 30 is unsinkable, a reassuring aspect while boating offshore.

Standard Equipment:
The HammerCat 30 features 2 x 12” Raymarine Axiom MFD’s, autopilot, quantum radar, VHF, 1kW in hull transducer as well as a transom transducer as the standard navigation package. The sound system by Rockford Fosgate features 4 x 300W loudspeakers in the hardtop and can be upgraded with subwoofers and amplifiers according to your choice. 2 x 150HP engines will propel the HammerCat 30 to just under 50 mph, different engine packages are available, up to Mercury 225HP.

Efficiency and range: The horsepower to weight ratio of the HammerCat 30 is unequalled in this size range: with 2 x 150HP you cruise at 30mph, your range will be >400m. Epoxy composite construction ensures a light, strong and efficient hull. Larger engines (max 2x 225HP) will result in a higher top end speed and similar fuel economy.

KISS Principle At Hammer Yachts, we are all boaters ourselves: we believe in easy to maintain systems. We don’t believe in electric sliding seats or opening rooftops. All systems on a HammerCat are easy to service / access, which means you can spend more time on the water.
