HammerCat 30

Meet the HammerCat 30

The newest member of the HammerCat family

Hammer Yachts is proud to introduce a new member to the HammerCat family: the HammerCat 30. As the smaller sister of the HammerCat 35, the HammerCat 30 has a unique hull shape and is immediately recognizable as a HammerCat.

The underwater body of the HammerCat 30 is defined by her double stepped hull and a wave breaker and anti-sneeze step in the forward part of the tunnel. Lifting strakes on the inside and outside of the hull keep the spray low and prevent water coming up over the bow and sides.

Where most power catamarans in this size range struggle to keep any distance between the bridge deck and the water, the HammerCat 30 offers a significant clearance of 18", which results in a smoother and dryer ride. The more energy from your engines is focused on going forward instead of up and down in the waves, the more efficient and comfortable your boat ride will be.

Unique features of the HammerCat 30

The HammerCat 30 offers an oversized epoxy composite hardtop, weighing just 150 lbs, which protects the helmsman and guests from the sun and rain. Two helm seats, two seats forward of the console and an aft bench offer seating for your guests while still having plenty of space for fishing or lounging.

The design brief of the HammerCat 30 was to come up with a family-friendly sportfishing center console. This is not just another sportfishing boat, but a comfortable day boat to take the family to the sandbar or over to the Bahamas for the weekend.

The cambered decks ensure that any water is discarded off deck quickly, and the hull of the HammerCat 30 is unsinkable, a reassuring aspect while boating offshore.

Fishing

Her sportfishing heritage is emphasized with two large insulated fish boxes on the aft deck (156 gallons / 600 liters each), a 50 gallon live-bait well on the transom with a Seachest, 10 Gemlux rod holders, and a reinforced area on the hardtop for optional outriggers. A rocket launcher for 7 rods in the hardtop is part of the impressive list of standard equipment.

The 8" wide gunnels are 28" off the deck, which gives you a secure feeling when leaning against them while fighting a fish. This is also an important safety aspect for boaters with children, grandchildren or pets aboard.

Standard Equipment

The HammerCat 30 features two 12" Raymarine Axiom MFDs, autopilot, Quantum radar, VHF, a 1kW in-hull transducer and a transom transducer as the standard navigation package. The sound system by Rockford Fosgate features four 300W loudspeakers and can be upgraded with subwoofers and amplifiers.

Seats by Miami Prestige feature hull-colored piping, diamond stitching and folding armrests with cupholders fore and aft. The standard 2 x 150HP engines will propel the HammerCat 30 to over 40 mph, with engine packages up to 225HP available.

Efficiency & Range

The horsepower to weight ratio of the HammerCat 30 is unequalled in this size range: with optional 2 x 225HP you cruise at 25 to 35 mph, and your range will exceed 300 miles. Epoxy composite construction ensures a light, strong and efficient hull, and the advanced hull design ensures a smooth and dry ride.

The KISS Principle

At Hammer Yachts, we are all boaters ourselves: we believe in easy-to-maintain systems. We don't believe in electric sliding seats or electrically opening rooftops. All systems on a HammerCat are easy to service and access, which means you spend more time on the water and less time chasing problems.
